Harry Mabry, Jr.

Posted

Harry Mabry, Jr., age 82, passed away Monday Jan. 7, 2019. Harry was born on April 21, 1936 to loving parents, Harry and Marjorie Mabry in Colorado Springs, Colo. In 1948, when he was just 12 years old, he and his family moved to Arizona. Harry attended Miami High School and graduated in 1957. Harry was a very kind and loving individual who will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

About 10 years ago, Harry became part of a new ministry for the Lord with a friend and brother in the Lord, Richard McMinn. It was called “Old School Ministry for the Lord Jesus Christ.” For a year or more, they ministered at the Globe Hospital and then started ministering at the Detention Center in San Carlos. About two years later, Harry began having health issues and became a resident of Haven Health Care for eight years. Until his passing, Harry was still active with the ministry by giving Bibles and prayer to those in need.

Harry loved God and one of his favorite things was to sing praises with all of his heart to our Lord. He also had great love and respect for his precious mother.

We would like to thank all of the people that helped take care of Harry. Thank you very much.

Harry is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Marjorie. He is survived by his brother, Robert Mabry; nephew, Edwin Mabry; great-nephew, Keaton Mabry; great-niece, Abigail Mabry, and longtime friend Richard McMinn.

Services took place on Jan. 15, 2019 at Bulman Miles Chapel with interment at City of Globe Cemetery.
