Harold A Heese 80, formally of Globe, passed away June 24, 2017 at his residence in Tucson with his family by his side after a 20 year battle with Parkinson’s disease. 

Harold was born Jan. 29, 1937 in Robstown, Texas along with his eight brothers and sisters.

Harold retired after 20 years from United Parcel Service and then moved to Tucson.

Harold was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.  Hiking the Grand Canyon three times, Harold passed down his love of hiking and camping to his family who have countless memories of sharing outdoor experiences with him. 

Once Harold retired from UPS and moved to Tucson where he became an avid tennis player and wood craftsman.

Harold endured the struggles associated with Parkinson’s disease but never lost his humor, love of life, and love for his family.

Harold is survived by his siblings: John Heese of Monet, Mo., Fr. Henry Heese of San Antonio, Texas,  Jim Heese of Santa Fe, N.M.,  Mary Skrobarcek of Stockdale, Texas,  Sr. Margaret Heese of St. Mary’s of the Woods, Ind., Carolyn Herman of Sarcoxie, Mo.; seven children and eight grandchildren who reside in Arizona, California and Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 30 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Tucson.
