Globe — It’s that time of the year — time to enjoy our wonderful Globe-Miami weather.
Grab some friends and get ready to enjoy some excellent entertainment and great food. Jim Vandyne, classical guitarist, will perform for the Gila County Historical Museum Hamburger Fry on Friday, Aug. 25.
Museum members are busy preparing their favorite salads and desserts, and the grill masters are ready to grill those delicious hamburgers everyone’s come to expect. The cost of the meal, which includes a hamburger, beans, potato salad, a variety of other sides, desserts and a drink, is $7 per person.
It’s all happening at the Gila County Historical Museum picnic grounds at 1330 N. Broad St. on Aug. 25 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Rain or shine, the “Burn” will go on. We hope to see you there.
