Globe Public Library updates

The Globe Public Library is located at 339 S. Broad Street. The phone number is 928-425-6111. The library is open by appointment only Monday –Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Available appointments are 8:30 - 9:30 a.m., 9:45 - 10:45 a.m., 11 a.m. – noon, 12:30 -1:30 p.m., 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. and 3 – 3:45 p.m. Masks are required to enter, and hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the library.

The library is also offering curbside pick-up. You can call the library or request books and DVDs online and pick them up from the comfort of your own car. Just give the library a call at 928-425-6111 when you get there and we will run the materials out to you.

We are now offering wireless printing. You can print from your phone, laptop or desktop computer from home. You need to download the “Princh” app from the App Store or Google Play, or open your browser and type: print.princh.com in the address line. Open your document and select “Print.” Be sure to select the Globe Public Library Printer #103148. The cost is the same, $0.25 per page. You can choose to pay by credit card or select pay at the desk. Then just come to the library to pick up your prints.

Due to Covid-19 we are having to quarantine all returned materials for seven days before they are checked in. All fines will be waived during this time. Now is a great time to return anything you have out, as all fines will be waived when it is returned. We are now offering books for sale. You can check out our small selection with an appointment.

Oct. 20 and 27 – Virtual Family Story Time with Robin at 9:30 a.m. We will have a grab and go kit with each story time. These can be picked up any time after story time all week.

Oct. 23 - Lori Manzanares from Healthy Families Globe will be at the Globe Public Library starting at 10 a.m. She will be here to answer questions about a new program in the area for expecting mothers and new families. Make an appointment to come to the library and visit with her.

Oct. 23 and 30 – Interactive Movie Experience Grab and Go Kits will be available. We will explain the kits on Facebook live at 10 a.m. Kits will be available for pickup all day, while supplies last. Oct. 24 will be Coco and Oct. 30 will be Hocus Pocus.

Oct. 30 – Come over to the Globe Public Library and trick-or-treat with us. We will have our drive-thru set up in front of the library. Please enter off of Cottonwood and drive through the dirt parking lot behind the teepee. We will be giving out goodie bags from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., while supplies last. Please be responsible, wear a mask, stay in your car and have an awesome costume.
