A Globe man was arrested after a single vehicle versus pedestrian accident last week on Six Shooter Canyon Road in Globe.
At about 5:12 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, the Gila County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls about a single vehicle versus pedestrian accident at 8958 S. Six Shooter Canyon in Globe.
Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene, along with the Gila County Sheriff’s Office Drug, Gang and Violent Crimes Task Force and detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau.
Chad Michael Rauworth, 36, of Globe, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim, a 23-year-old male from Globe, was transported to the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center and later flown to the Chandler Regional Medical Center, in Chandler, with non-life-threatening injuries.
This is an active investigation and more information may be released as it becomes available.
The Tri City Fire Department, Tri City Ambulance and Native Air also responded.
