GLOBE — Mark your calendars for Feb. 8 and 9, for clean-up at the Globe Cemetery in the Knights of Columbus area which is on the south slope about half way up.
This part is also marked as area 15 and 15a.
This is jointly sponsored by Globe Councilman Mike Stapleton (Vice Mayor) and Supervisor Woody Cline with the support of the Globe Mayor, Council along with Gila County. We plan to start at 8 a.m. and work until around 2 p.m.
All skill levels and any amount of time you can spare is appreciated.
If you have rakes, shovels, hoes, weed eaters please bring them.
There is a lot of brush, cactus and trash to pickup. On Sunday we will finish what doesn’t get done on Saturday.
Gila County will provide water for everyone, but bring a lunch if you plan to work all day.
