Glenda Ann Baker passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Sept. 22, 2018. She was 74 at the time of her death.

She was born July 23, 1944 in Mesa. She lived there through her early adult years and met and married her husband Thomas Baker.

They lived in Phoenix for a short time and had a daughter, Kathy Ann. Work brought the family to Washington state where they had a son, Dale. They lived there until June, 1983. They enjoyed their time there and made many lifelong friends but ultimately decided to come back to Arizona.

They settled in Roosevelt and have been there happily ever since.

Glenda loved bowling and competed on the national level. In her retirement she enjoyed reading, needlecrafts, movies and NASCAR. Her favorite driver was Kyle Busch. She loved spending time with her family and staying in touch with family and friends on Facebook.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Thomas Baker; her daughter Kathy Brumfiel; son-in-law Tracy and their children Brittany, Max, Kasey and Abbey. She is also survived by her son Dale Baker; daughter-in-law Brookie and their children Karina, Taylor, Thomas and adopted son Zachary, as well as five great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Christian, Blaze, Everleigh, Raelynn and one on the way.
