EDITOR: The Gila County Supporting our Servicemen (and women) wishes to thank everyone who donated leftover Halloween candy and new, unused, Christmas cards to SOS.
We provided Christmas cards to children and adults to sign during the Read On Express event, and the next day, we shipped 63 “care packages” containing among other things, lots of candy and Christmas cards, to Afghanistan.
This means so much to our troops who aren’t getting home for the holidays!
