Gila County issues air quality advisory

Gila County — Smoke levels may increase over the next few days due to the Pinal Fire. Gila County Department of Health and Emergency Management is coordinating with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality to monitor air quality in the Globe/Miami Area.

If you have respiratory problems or are sensitive to smoke, either stay indoors with windows closed or, if possible, relocate to someplace away from the smoke. If symptoms persist or become more severe, please seek medical attention as soon as possible.
