Join the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) from Globe High School as they host a donation drive to benefit the High Desert Humane Society. Donations will be collected during the month of October.

Needed items are kitten chow, cat food and kitty litter. Donations may be dropped off at Hill Street Mall, 383 S. Hill St., Globe.

The Mall is open Thursday through Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or call 928-402-6000, extension 4409 to arrange donation pickups. Any donation is appreciated.

GHS’ FBLA chapter is new to the high school this year and is made up of the Digital Communications and Business classes.

This specific project is being headed by The Papoose newspaper staff. The staff visited the cat shelter on Sept. 13 to meet the cats and the shelter staff.

The students are excited to be helping out a worthy cause and look forward to more community involvement in the future.
