Claypool — Gila Community College held a ceremony for ADOT Certificate Earners at the Regional Training Center on Thursday, May 18. Eight students were awarded Certificates of Completion for completing the following: Beginning Carpentry, Mathematics for Construction Trade, Workshop/Flagger Certification, OSHA 10 Training, and Job Seeking Strategies.
GCC recognizes the strong partnership with Arizona Department of Transportation in developing workforce training. Special thanks to Corey Foster, ADOT’s Job Training Workforce Development Program Manager, for providing the opportunity for our students to earn a certificate at no cost to them.
