Globe — Globe Community College Fire Science students were engaged learners on Wednesday, May 10. Thanks to the Tri-City Fire District and the Globe Fire Department for teaming up at the Tri-City Fire District training grounds to provide hands-on activities.
GCC students identified burn patterns while in a fiery structure; responded to a blazing vehicle; and worked as a team to extinguish a flaming propane tree (pictured).
Gila Community College would like to thank the Tri-City Fire District and the Globe Fire Department for partnering with us to provide this extraordinary learning opportunity. We would also like to thank our Fire Science instructors: Nick Renon, Gary Robinson, Bob Arthur, Stevie Arthur, Joe Bracamonte, Tony Grainger, Justin Lawrence, Michael Peterson, Burrell Teague, Michael Becker, Kendall Cormack, Caleb Hale, and Servondo Henry for their commitment to providing the highest quality education to GCC Fire Science students.
