Gayle Emelene Boehm, 84

Gayle Emelene Boehm, age 84, of Globe, Arizona, passed away on May 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born in El Paso, Texas on July 16, 1932, the daughter of Phillip Norris and Carrie Abigail Cass.

She moved to Globe in 1946, and met and married Jack D. Speer in 1947. They lived in Phoenix and had two children Jack Speer, Jr. and David Speer. Gayle worked for Mountain Bell in Phoenix and Globe.

She also worked for KIKO Radio in Globe, Ozark Lead in Missouri and Kennecott Copper in Hayden and Salt Lake City, where she retired. She moved back to Globe to be with her sons. She had many volunteer jobs locally and always kept busy. Gayle had a large extended family that she loved dearly and they will truly miss her.

Gayle is survived by her two sons, Jack Speer, Jr. and David Speer; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Relief Society Room at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Globe, Arizona. Funeral Services will follow at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Salt Lake City, Utah. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
