Freeport McMoRan and ASARCO have both announced new mine internships for which they are now taking applications.

• At Freeport McMoran Corporate headquarters in Phoenix, the following Summer 2017 Internships are open: Accounting, Sales and Marketing, and Land and Water.
• Freeeport McMoRan Miami has a Summer 2017 Internship in Mine Engineering.

• ASARCO at Hayden: Metallurgical and Chemistry Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
• ASARCO Ray near Kearny: Metallurgical Engineering, and Mine/Civil Engineering
• ASARCO Mission Mine south of Tucson: Geological Engineering, Mine Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
• ASARCO Silver Bell Mine near Marana: Chemistry, Geological Engineering, and Mine Engineering.
