Want to know the facts about opioids – or finally get help for your addiction, or find services for a friend or family? Tempe-based Crisis Response Network will park their mobile clinic near Globe Public Library Wednesday, Oct. 16 from noon to 5 p.m. to offer free health testing, screening for Hepatitis-C and also HIV, and to give confidential assessment for substance use – and help local residents get treatment for opioid addiction.
“We provide crisis and behavioral health support in Maricopa County and throughout northern Arizona,” said Stephanie Ali. “Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona has funded our work as part of their larger MobilizeAZ initiative over the coming year to bring these mobile clinics to rural communities throughout the state to provide free substance use services.

Our goal is to reduce fatal overdoses, and to provide harm reduction education and increase access to substance use treatment - specifically Medication Assisted Treatment. All our services will be free when we visit Globe, and we will even provide free Naloxone, which can reverse an opioid overdose – it can save a life in an emergency.”

“Sonoran Prevention Works, along with Community Medical Services are provide these resources with us, and we also want to expand awareness of our ‘community navigation’ to assist local communities dealing with the opioid epidemic.
