Fred Lee Stringer, 77 of Miami, Ariz. passed away on Friday, Nov. 8 at his residence in Wheatfields.
Fred was born in McNary, Ariz. to Fred and Sybil Stringer and moved to Miami around 1945. Though he left the area for 20 plus years he came back after retiring.
Most would remember him to be very talented he loved to play guitar and sing always putting a rock and roll twist on songs. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Earl and sister Joyce.
Survived by his best friend, soulmate and love of his life, his wife of 42 years Shirley Stringer, daughters Roz Evans (Mike), Lisa Herrington (Lewis), Deanna Woo, Joy Rauch (Jimmy); his son Jimmy Wilckens (Heather), brother Alton (Vonnie), sisters Loyce, Carol (Ken), Sandi, granddaughter Elon Coates (Mike), Krystal McShane (Mike), Bryaunna Earlywine (Evan), Alexis Delaney, Deandra Woo, SheAnna Woo, Kaiah Nelson; grandsons Calvert Herrington, Harrison Herrington, Tristen Osuna; 13 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
