The wildfires currently burning throughout parts of Arizona are of deep concern to all of us at Southwest Gas. Our hearts are with all Arizonans who have been impacted. During these challenging times, Southwest Gas wants to remind customers who are facing financial hardship and are having trouble paying their natural gas bill due to the wildfires, that funds are available for qualified individuals through our Energy Share program. Customers who qualify can receive assistance towards paying their Southwest Gas bill and do not need to meet Federal Poverty Income Guidelines to qualify. For more information, please visit https://wildfireaz.org/find-help/energy-assistance.
Southwest Gas enjoys a long-standing partnership with Arizona fire officials, and we send our heartfelt appreciation to those battling the flames. Southwest Gas crews on the front lines of the fires have been coordinating with fire officials on the ground since the start of the fires to ensure our customers in the communities we serve are safe. When deemed necessary for the safety of our customers, fire crews and others in the fire’s path, Southwest Gas may shut off service to certain sections of our pipeline proactively. We are thankful for our brave crews, many of whom live and work in the communities impacted by these fires.
Celebrating 90 years of providing clean, affordable natural gas service, Southwest Gas Corporation proudly serves over two million customers in Arizona, California and Nevada, safely and reliably. For more information about Southwest Gas, please visit www.swgas.com.
