Evelyn Casillas Oliver, 75

Evelyn Casillas Oliver, age 75, peacefully reunited with her loved ones in heaven on Aug. 10, with her loving family by her side in Chandler, Ariz. She was born to Trinidad “Casey” Casillas and Antonia Perez on Jan. 7, 1944 in Claypool, Ariz. She graduated from Miami High School in 1962.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her father, mother, and two brothers, Victor P. Casillas and Paul Miranda Jr. She is remembered by four siblings, Rosemary (Jimmy) Tarango, Ramona Y. Casillas, Henry (Pam) Miranda, and Ernie (Rachel) Miranda. Additionally, she is survived by her husband, Wayne Carlos Oliver. They shared 44 years of marriage together. Evelyn also leaves behind six children, Paul (Teresa) Contreras, Mark Contreras, Cayci (Mark) Oliver Pass, Greg (Erika) Oliver, Mary (David) Evans, and Stephen (Stephanie) Oliver, 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, an aunt, and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Evelyn was a gift to all who knew her.

She will be remembered for the great love and compassion she had for all of her family and friends.

Evelyn will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her warm smile and generous touch will be remembered for generations to come.

Services will be held later this week in Chandler, Ariz. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  See website for details.
