Muggles are welcome, but Harry Potter fans may have a better chance to complete the “Room of Requirement” challenge, hosted at the Globe Library on Friday and Saturday evenings, Jan. 25-26, and again Feb. 1-2.
The new fundraiser is a live and interactive game based on the popular locked room mystery with a Harry Potter theme. Co-sponsored by Friends of the Globe Public Library and United Fund of Globe-Miami, the event pits teams as witches and wizards to solve puzzles, save a dragon egg, and escape the Room of Requirement before time runs out.
Costumes are encouraged, but not required and concessions will be available. Paid registration of $20 per player is required, and time slots will fill up quickly.
Sign up at the Globe Public Library during the library hours; for details call library staff at 928-425-6111, or connect at facebook.com/GlobePublicLibrary.
The Globe Library is located at 339 S. Broad St. in Globe.
