Erlinda Dorame, age 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

She was born on July 10, 1939 to her beloved parents, Joe S. Berumen and Aurora M. Serna in Miami, Arizona.

Erlinda was raised and lived in Miami and she graduated from Miami High School.

She worked twenty (20 or more) years for the Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company in the Annode Plant and at the Smelter.

Erlinda loved softball and she played with Miami in the Falcons, Roadrunners and Barcon Construction fast pitch softball teams.

In 1966 she had the highest batting average in Gila Co.  Erlinda worked and played softball all her life until the time of her accident and then retired.  

Erlinda was a very happy, loving and giving person.

She was a wonderful mother and an amazingly great cook.  She loved cooking and baking for her friends and family and making delicious fresh homemade tortillas.

Erlinda also enjoyed camping, gardening, crocheting, arts and crafts.

 She is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, James C. Dorame, Sr. and her beloved parents, Joe S. Berumen and Aurora M. Serna.

She is survived by her loving and caring children, Suzanne Perez, Lillian M. (Angel) Gameros and James C. (Debbie) Dorame, Jr.; her siblings, Marlene Berumen Joey Berumen, her eight wonderful grandchildren and seventeen wonderful great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are as follows:  The Rosary will be at 9:40 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 914 Sullivan St., Miami, AZ  85539; the Memorial Service Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3751 East U.S. Hwy 60, Miami, AZ  85539.
