Eleanor Gonzales Ramos

Posted

On Jan. 7, 2019 God called home His beloved daughter Eleanor Gonzales Ramos. Eleanor was born to Trinidad and Refugio Gonzales on Nov. 16, 1922 and spent all her life devoted to her family, to hard work and to her never-ending faith in God and our Holy Mother and to a fervent prayer life.

Eleanor was very talented and enjoyed her artistic hobbies, crafts and doll-making. She loved to sing and dance and play with her children and grandchildren. Though we are saddened by her passing, we are hopeful and faithful in God’s promise of Heaven and eternal life. We know that Eleanor is reunited with her husband Pilar (PiPi) and daughter Lillian and her many family members who passed before her. We will love and miss her always but are comforted in knowing that now, in joy, she will pray for us from Heaven.

Eleanor leaves behind her sons George (Linda); David (Sylvia); Sam (Shirley); Pilar, Jr. and one daughter Dorothy (Mike); 18 grandchildren and over 70 great- and great-great-grandchildren as well as one sister Adela and two brothers Jesus and Ramon and many nieces and nephews. Thank you, God, for a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
