Desiree D. Lianoz passed away in Globe, Az. on Dec. 16, 2022 at Haven Health. She was born in Miami, Az. on Sept. 7, 1967 to Virginia (Leos) Renteria and Arthur Frank Renteria. Growing up in her early twenties she spent time in southern California. She then returned home to Globe, where she spent over 15 years as a cook. Everyone who met Desiree “Dez” knew she enjoyed her life outside of work by having good times with family and friends. In 1997 she married Ruben Lianoz; they raised their two beautiful children, Arthur Frank “Johnny” Renteria and Chrystella Regine Lianoz, in Globe.
Desiree is preceded in death by her beloved mother Virginia (Leos) Renteria and her first granddaughter Graciella R. Lianoz.
Services were held Jan. 21, 2023 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 844 Sullivan St. in Miami, Az. Rosary was held at 9:30 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. A luncheon followed the Mass.
