Delays expected on southeastern Arizona highways

Motorists on several highways in southeastern Arizona will encounter intermittent delays for a safety project through late October.

Crews will install rumble strips weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the following locations:

US 60 near Superior (milepost 228 to 239)

US 60 northeast of Globe (milepost 264 to 287)

US 70 between Globe and Bylas (milepost 275 to 294)

US 191 south of I-10 (milepost 46 to 67)

US 191 southeast of Clifton (milepost 157 to 160)

State Route 77 between Winkelman and US 70 (milepost 145 to 170)

State Route 188 northwest of Globe (milepost 217 to 233)

Drivers may encounter flaggers where crews are working.

The project is expected to be complete by late October.

Drivers and pedestrians should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
