Deena Lynn Crossett

Deena Lynn Crossett, age 59, of Globe, passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, 2019 at Banner University Medical Center. Deena was born in Tucson on March 26,1959 to her loving parents David and Joan Crossett. She lived in Arizona for almost 35 years and even attended Globe High School where she earned her GED. Deena was part owner of Dave’s Mower Shop in Globe. Deena had four beautiful children whom she loved and cherished and was even blessed with 11 grandchildren. Deena fell in love with Mariano and married him on Oct. 14,1989. They have been happily married for the last 29 years in Claypool.

Deena loved to spend time gardening and one thing she truly loved was roses. This was a reflection on her life and her commitment to all things that were truly beautiful in this world. Deena was not only a wonderful gardener but was also an expert at the crochet needle. She was self-taught and had a real talent for it. She could even make a beautiful piece with only one piece of yarn. Deena had a very creative mind and always wanted to show the true nature and love for things that she did. She blessed this world with her spirit and beautiful soul. She has children, grandchildren and loved ones who will remind you of her own character and love for all things beautiful. Deena cherished so much, but the one thing she truly loved the most was her family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Dave and Joan Crossett. Those who live on in her legacy are her loving husband Mariano Gonzalez; her children, Chris (Rachel) Greenwall, Kimberly Greenwall, Shelby (Holly) Greenwall and Erick (Michelle) Greenwall; her brothers Dave and Troy Crossett and her sister Laurie Brock along with 11 wonderful and beautiful grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at the River of Life Church in Globe with a reception to follow.
