Clyde Elbert Miller was born on Jan. 14, 1946 to Mildred and Otis Miller in Bogalusa, Louisiana.

He moved to Arizona with his wife, Barbara, in 1967 and began working for Inspiration Copper, where he was a boilermaker for 40 years until his retirement.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents Otis and Mildred, his sisters Marie Lacey and Inez Mullens, and his brothers Herbert Culberth, Doby Miller, Shelton Miller, Elvin Miller, Glynn Miller, James Miller and Lofton Miller.

He is survived by the love of his life and best friend of 55 years, Barbara. He is also survived by two sons, Percy (Dana) and Elton (Vonda); one daughter, Andrea Harrison (Chris); a brother, William Miller (Lajuan); brother-in-law Roger Williams and sisters-in-law Virginia Stewert, Julie Miller, Frenchie Miller and Geneva Miller; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Clyde was the voice of the Tigers for over 30 years, where he loved announcing Globe Tigers sports. Clyde enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family.

Memorial services will be Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11 a.m., at Living Waters Church, 125 E. Haskins Rd., Globe.

A reception will follow at the Globe-Miami Elks Lodge, 1910 E. Maple St., Globe.

Burial of ashes will be in Globe Cemetery at a later time.
