Clay was born in Camden, New Jersey on Aug. 21, 1946. He passed on June 21, 2020 in Globe, Ariz. at his home.

Clay moved to Globe in March of 1995 from Las Vegas, Nevada. He served in the Army National Guard for four years. He worked as a car salesman for several years at American Auto.

He worked in Real Estate in Nevada and California. Clay spent many years of his life in music, writing  songs, the entertainment industry. He appeared at many local businesses as a Karaoke host. He was particularly good at his job and had many friends and followers. He also entertained at Heritage Health Care Centers for the residents and enjoyed that very much. He will be missed so much by all who knew him.

He is in Heaven now playing his guitar and singing one of his songs he wrote, making and listening to beautiful music from now on.

Clay had a loving, caring, longtime companion Myrna Compton for 25 years, also her two grandchildren KandiLyn Hunter and Bryan Conway.

Clay is preceded in death by his mother Janice Swanson, His father Clay Mills Sr.

He is survived by his sister Leslie Rainwater of Texas, his sister Michelle Carson of Apache Junction and his brother Ron Egger (Muzzie) of Coolidge Ariz. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

There will be cremation followed by a private Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
