Posted

Chris was born June 18, 1973 to Annie (Mercado) Heath and Chuck Minchew.

He was raised by his parents Annie and Dennis Heath in Globe, Ariz., where he attended Globe schools and graduated in 1992.

After graduation he attended Gila Pueblo to become a mechanic in trade. Chris traveled for a few years working different jobs. Later in life he came back home to Globe, where he worked at the AMPM for 14 years.

After leaving AMPM he began working for Gila County as a mechanic, where he was employed until his passing.

Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, camping and working on vehicles, which was his passion. He also loved riding his Harley. But most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Chris is preceded in death by his grandfather David Mercado, his father Chuck Minchew and his cousin Daniel Mercado.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years Shaolin Heath; his children Mercedes Heath and Christopher Heath Jr.; his mother and father Annie and Dennis Heath; his grandmother Virginia Mercado; his father and mother-in-law Anthony and Mary Brewer; a bonus mom as he would say, JoAnn Minchew; his brothers Chucky Minchew and Cody Minchew; his sisters Corey Minchew, Leva Heath, Monica Minchew and Dominique Minchew; and his brothers by choice Roy Riddle, Anthony Brewer Jr. and Emiliano Brewer.

He also had many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers- and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews whom he absolutely loved dearly.
