Children’s book comes to life across AZ

Cassie Tafoya/Arizona Silver Belt Artist Isaac Nicholas Caruso stands in front of one of the pages of his children’s book with his assistant.

Isaac Nicholas Caruso is a 31-year-old artist and creative director born and raised in Phoenix, Ariz. Caruso works to make public art to communicate with communities and help give them a visual identity. The imagery he paints is powerful and uplifting.

Currently Caruso is working on a 43 page children’s book Sam and Sara. It will come to life all across Arizona with a page being illustrated in various towns with street art. Miami, Ariz. is one of the towns that portrays a part of his book. Page 24 can be seen on a wall on the corner of Miami Ave. and Hwy 60.
