Charlie Glenn Poarch, Jr., 62, left us too early to join his brother Poncho in heaven, Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018 peacefully at home with his girls by his side. Charlie, Jr. was born April 1, 1956 in Tucson, Ariz. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1973. He spent three years serving our country with pride. In that same year he married his lifelong partner Jill (Carroll) Poarch. In the following years, he went into construction, working his way from a laborer to a project manager

for various companies including R.E. Miller construction, NAC Construction and finishing his career at Jonovich Companies here in Globe.

Charlie was well known for the hard work and dedication he put forth in anything he did: his voice, picking guitar, his sense of humor and his love for fishing.

Through the years he became a father to two beautiful girls whom he loved dearly. Living spiritually through the minds and hearts of his wife of 45 years, Jill Poarch, his parents Charlie Glenn Poarch, Sr. and Patsy A. Poarch; brothers Cody (Tiffany) Poarch and Justin (Brenda) Poarch. Daughters, Heather (Jimmy) Johnson and Patricia (Craig) Johnson; grandkids Charlie Joe Johnson, Victoria Johnson, Antonio Johnson, Tabbatha Peak, Charlie Rose Peak, Kaylyn Johnson and Craig Johnson, Jr.; nephews Brent and Peter Poarch; nieces Rianna and Cierra Poarch, great-grandkids Izyc, Laylah, Kamryn Sue and two new additions to the Poarch family coming in November and December and many other family members.

He is proceeded in death by William Jackson (Poncho).

The Poarch Family would like to invite all Charlie’s “rowdy friends” to come over to the American Legion on Aug. 24, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. (downtown Globe) for a fish fry, Wild Turkey and great music as we celebrate his life. Please bring your favorite photo of Charlie, Jr.
