Centennial Band loves the music

Bill Joslin plays the Alto Sax during the Globe Miami Centennial Band’s Valentine’s Day Concert, “For the Love of Music,” held Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish Hall in Miami. Conducted by Director Nolan Frost, both the Concert Band and the Centennial Swing Jazz Band performed Saturday evening. Joslin was featured in a number entitled, “Black and Tan Fantasy,” by Ellington and Miley. Frost, who also sang a couple of numbers Saturday, said that the Centennial Band will hold a fundraising event in March.
