Catherine Eileen Canez was born April 23, 1967.
She was the first baby born at Cobre Valley Hospital.
She left us on July 22, 2019.
Cathy graduated from Arizona State University and received her Masters from Northern Arizona University.
She was currently a special education teacher at Miami High School.
Cathy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Joe Diaz, her maternal grandparents, Manuel and Sarah Zaragoza, and her paternal grandparents, Pat and Josephine Sanchez.
Cathy was a kind, considerate human being with a calm soul and a subtle sense of humor.
She had a passion for crafting.
Cathy leaves behind her parents, John and Bea Sanchez, her sister, Christine Diaz, and her legacy, Kevin Canez and Courtney Canez.
