CASA volunteers sworn in

Posted

On April 19, 2018, three local citizens were sworn in by Presiding Judge Timothy M. Wright as Court Appointed Special Advocates. Two of these volunteers will serve as advocates for children in the Payson area and one will serve as an advocate in the Globe area. Through their position as CASAs, these three will be assigned to children who were victims of child abuse or neglect. They will advocate for what is in the child’s best interest until the child’s case is closed by reaching a permanent placement.
