Carlo Michael Humphrey, 64, of Globe, Ariz. passed away on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 at his residence in Globe. He was born in Petaluma, Calif. on March 13, 1955. He was the son of Georgia Ruth Short and Joseph Wesley Humphrey.
He grew up in Ft. Grant and in Safford, Ariz. He attended Ft. Grant High School. Hump never knew a stranger. He was loved and respected by many and valued each and every friendship he had. He was in his second term as a city council member for district 2. He retired from the City of Globe after 37 years. Mike was a licensed contractor and a water treatment specialist for San Carlos School District. He loved to hunt, fish and ride motorcycles. He was a member of the Loner’s Motorcycle Club.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Joseph Wesley Humphrey. He is survived by his mother Georgia Humphrey of Globe, his wife Veronica “Roni” Humphrey of Globe, his daughters Kristi Maldanado of Globe, Brandi Cano (Jason) of Gilbert, Ariz., Brittney Foster (Jeremiah) of Globe, Pauline Anderson of Mesa, his son Robert Anderson of Phoenix, Ariz., his brother Tim Humphrey of Globe and 21 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
