We would like to thank all the people who accompanied us as we said goodbye to Dora Benavidez, our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
In our Christian faith we know we will see her again Dora is now in a place called heaven.
She endured much in this life but she is now in peace with herself and in the love of God.
She is with our parents Thomas and Katia Benavidez, who proceeded her in death, and Phillip and Angel, and she will meet baby Eddie.
Dora was very close to her nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Kendra (Jerald), Allssa, Amaya, and Aliya, and her son Thomas (Elizabeth), as well as her brothers Tommy (Medieh), Joe, Alex (Cynthia), Pat and sisters Molly (Manuel), Francis, and Yolanda (Richard).
Special thanks for Tim, our all around helper, Pat, Michael and Tammy, who prepared the food, Kendra and Tim for the flowers, Rueben Gonzales who provided the music, and Molly and Yollie who provided the clothes.
A special thank you to Lamont Mortuary and staff for the loving way they took care of us.
