Globe — The annual Battle of the Badges blood drive is held at the First Christian Church of Globe.
The competition is between Globe Fire Department, Globe Police Department, Tri-City Fire Department and the Gila County Sheriff’s Department.
This year the Sheriff’s department won with 8 units and the other departments all tied up with 2 units each.
First Christian Church of Globe will be holding another blood drive on Nov. 28 from 1-6 p.m.
The church is located at 401 South Broad Street in Globe.
