Headed by Amanda Martin as the new Regional Commissioner, AYSO 543 is off to a great start to the season. Martin and her son have been a part of AYSO for several years now and she is excited to grow the programs offered by the region. She is going to be implementing playground and schoolyard soccer to bring a level of participation in for younger children and their parents. With the help of new board members for the region, Martin is the right fit to head the soccer organization.

Challenger Sports will be hosting its summer soccer camp at the upper fields on Hagen Road in Globe (near the skate park). There will be a free day on Saturday, May 5, to get the experience of working with international coaches. Ages 3-18 are welcome to try a day of camp before signing up. Times will be from 9-10 a.m. for ages 3-11 with British coaches and 10-11 a.m. for ages 12-18 with Brazilian coaches. Close-toed shoes and shin guards are required.

There will be on-site registration, and all of those who register will receive the offcial camp tee-shirt, soccer ball, action poster with camp report card, 12-month subscription to Online Coaching Resource, and the new Challenger Sports app.
