GLOBE — On Dec. 27, at about 11:00 p.m., a small fire was set in the rear of the Globe Police Department.
Officers noticed the flames and quickly extinguished the fire. Fire Marshall Joe Bracamonte was called to assist with the investigation and determined that the fire had been intentionally set.
Through the course of the investigation, Nathaniel Meyer, was questioned in regards to the arson and subsequently arrested for Attempted Arson of an Occupied Structure. Meyer was booked into the Gila County Jail.
There was no damage to the Police building and only minor damage to property. No one was injured during the incident.
