Armando Lopez passed away on Tuesday, April 10 after a short battle with cancer. Born on March 25, 1945, he was 73 years of age. A lifelong resident of Globe, Arizona, Armando retired from Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company. In addition to mining, he owned Mandy’s UN bar in downtown Miami with his first wife, Kathy.

Armando will be missed by many. He brought laughter to his family and friends with his positive outlook on each and every day and a great sense of sarcasm and humor. Armando loved the Globe-Miami area and he made sure the homes he owned throughout his lifetime had a great view of the Pinal Mountains. He spent a lot of time cruising around with his buddies enjoying the community.

Armando will be missed by his loved ones including his only son, Sean Lopez; ex-wife, Kathy Kapera; wife, Barbera and her two children; sister, Rosie Giorza; and brothers, William Lopez and Alvin Johnson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emmie Lee.
