Alzada Stevens, age 74 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Jan. 12, 2021 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. She was born in Mishongovi, Arizona on Dec. 11, 1946. She was the daughter of Lydia Hyeoma and Harold Numkena. She attended school in Springville, Utah through the LDS Placement Program.  She did a lot of volunteering at St. Charles Schools.  She was the creator of the Original Stuff Popover for El Ray’s Chuckwagon. She enjoyed spending time at the casino. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, beadwork, cake decorating, spending time with her grandchildren and making crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lydia and Harold Numkena, her daughter Stephanie M. Stevens, her siblings Geneva Namoki, Florence Valwin, Joseph Mansfield and Breon Mansfield, and three grandsons.

Alzada is survived by her husband Ray P. Stevens Jr., of San Carlos, her children Niccole L. King of Mesa, Michael L. Stevens of San Carlos, Anna M. Victor of San Carlos, Marie A. Kayson of San Carlos, Michelle Wilkinson of Utah, Jamie R. Winship of San Carlos, Patricia N. Haight of Sierra Vista and Gloria R. Stevens of San Carlos, her siblings Austin Poseyesva of Keams Canyon, Eugene Mansfield of Second Mesa, Noreen Cantu of Phoenix, Luene Mansfield of Phoenix and Naida Mansfield of Phoenix 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. 

Visitation was on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021.

Graveside services followed at San Carlos Cemetery.
