Sheriff J. Adam Shepherd would like to release the following information regarding the recent arrest of a level one sex offender in Globe, AZ.
On January 24, 2018, at approximately 4:43 p.m., the Gila County Sheriff’s Office followed up on information that was received regarding a sex offender who had not updated his address. Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office and the Gila County Drug, Gang and Violent Crimes Task Force responded to the residence and found the information to be correct.
As a result, Daniel Martinez Alonzo, age 77, of Globe was arrested and charged with failure to comply with sex offender requirements.
