GLOBE — Downtown Globe will be “Alive After Five” as the Globe-Miami chamber’s monthly mixer takes off Thursday, July 27 in the 200 block of Broad Street in downtown Globe from 5-7 pm.
Music, raffle prizes, refreshments and special merchant incentives are on the menu for the evening. Carroll’s Trading Post, Shirley’s Gifts and Dominion Cutting Company lead the charge with merchandise specials and fun events for the evening.
Jackson Hewitt will be the kickoff spot to get the door prize raffle tickets, and other selected stops will be offering a card for the poker run, with the best hand to win a gift certificate. Other door prizes will be given out throughout the evening.
Carroll’s Trading Post has announced 30 percent off everything the store that evening while Shirley’s Gifts has 40 percent off most merchandise and rumor is that chocolate may be involved somehow. Taking the steps up to the Dominion Cutting Company will be a worthwhile trip as they have a Western-themed photo booth planned.
Noel’s Sweets and Knockout Salon are in the mix as well, so stop in and see what they have. Farley’s Irish Pub will have a drink special …what a way to wind up the evening. And going round the block, Copper Hen Bakery and Restaurant is teaming up with the High Desert Humane Society for some specials they are calling Dog Days of Summer.
The new Cobre Valley Youth Program will have a drink booth and a kettle corn booth will be open as well. Music will keep things hopping and plenty of door prizes and contests will insure that Alive After Five is more than an idea. Mark your calendar for July 27 in downtown Globe. You don’t want to miss Alive After Five.
