Sheriff J. Adam Shepherd would like to release the following information regarding an aggravated assault investigation.
On December 13, 2017, at approximately 2:13 a.m. the Gila County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from an individual who was reporting that a male subject had been assaulted and was requesting assistance from emergency medical services.
Deputies along with Detectives from the Gila County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau responded to the area of Walliman Road in Globe, Arizona. One male subject reported to detectives that he had been assaulted and stabbed in the lower extremities of his body. The victim was transported to the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center by Tri City Ambulance where the victim was treated for his injuries.
The suspect or suspects in this investigation are unknown at this time. This is an active investigation and further information may be released as it becomes available.
