Globe-Maimi — Plug’n All Around Arizona electric vehicle tour in area on Thursday, Oct. 12.
While they are hardly mainstream yet, electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular.
The Tucson Electric Vehicle Association will be coming through Globe-Miami on Thursday, Oct. 12 as part of the 6th annual ‘Plug’n All Around Arizona’ event.
They will be at the Globe-Miami Chamber between 2-3:30 p.m. to discuss with business owners and elected officials how they can make their business and the area attractive to visitors with electric vehicles.
Any business owner interested in hearing what vehicle owners are looking for as they travel is invited to attend a session at the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce from 2-3:30 p.m. on Oct. 12.
Jerry Asher, team captain, will be at the meeting. He invites motel and restaurant owners and any other group that might be interested in catering to the needs of the electric vehicle brigade to attend.
On display will be several electric vehicles that are making a circuit of Arizona towns.
