2021 Sunrise Challenge extreme 7K

Globe Rotary held thier Annual Sunrise Challenge 7K at Round Mountain Park on Saturday, June 5. The 2021 Sunrise Challenge had 30 participants, 24 runners and six walkers. Medals and trophies were handed out to the top 7K finishers during a pancake breakfast that was hosted by the Globe-Miami Elks Lodge.

The youngest runner was Tayshaun Nosie, age 16, who completed the course in 51:15, and the most mature was Janet Foote, age 62, whose time was 1:16:03. Jordan Acker was the overall winner and also the overall male with 40:07. The overall female was Jzsanette Cullen with 47:44.

Top three females in 21-35 years: first Jzsanette Cullen 47:44; second Malarie Pablo 1:12:27; third LeiAnn Champagne 1:13:30. Top three females in 36-50 years: first Milli Charles 51:52; second Linda Campbell 53:32; third Lisa Hansen 1:00:49. Top two females in 51-65 years: first Monica Perez 1:06:33; second Janet Foote 1:16:03.

Top three males in 12-20 years: first Tayshaun Nosie 51:15; second James Keel, 52:20; third Samuel Benedetto 1:05:09. Top three males in 21-35 years: first Jordan Acker 40:07; second Aaron Gourdin 47:51; third Byran Washington 54:40. Top three males in 36-50 years: first Slade Morgan 58:25; second Harley Gilbert 1:23:46; third Vincent Mariscal 1:34:57.

Other participants male 21-35 were Emilio Soto and Remi Lucero; male 35-50 Travis Alexander. Female participants ages 21-35 were LeiAnn Champagne, Angellisa Hoffman, Heather Schoenberger; female 36-50 Milli Charles; female 51-65 Florene Golden.
